Membership

Persons wishing to join our Association are invited to play as visitors on at least three occasions and be observed by three members of the Committee who will then make an appropriate recommendation.

Although we have varying standards of play amongst our members, we do require prospective members to know the basics of tennis; that is, how to score and be able to serve and rally.

An application form will be offered to you that you complete and return to one of the Committee members together with the appropriate Joining Fee and Annual Subscription.  Upon becoming a financial member, you will be able to use the facilities at Crestwood as an Association Member. A formal acknowledgment will then follow together with a copy of the Rules and By-Laws of the Association.

Membership Fees

A Family includes parents and their children (if applicable) who are full time students. A Junior is a person under 18 years old and not part of a family membership.

Annual subscriptions fall due on 1st July and are payable by 31st July.
New Members who join during the year pay the full Joining Fee and a reduced Annual Subscription.

Visitors Fees

Tennis Attire

We do maintain a dress code. Any tennis attire that can be purchased as recognised tennis attire will be acceptable. Approved tennis shoes must be worn during play (no heels or heavy tread) and hats or caps may be worn.

Session Times

Session

Time

Tennis balls, tea and coffee are provided at all sessions by the Association.

At each playing session, an elected Court Captain arranges the sets; that is, mixed, ladies or men's doubles.

We recommend that visitors (especially the first time) attend either the Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning sessions, as Sunday afternoon tends to be rather quiet.

Tournaments and Social Events

Throughout the year, tournaments and social events are organised for members of the Association. Click here for more information.
